CCHS IB Programme Curriculum

Cypress Creek High School’s preparation for the IB
program [CCHS Pre-IB] occurs during the freshmen and sophomore years. The
Diploma Program (DP) curriculum undertaken during junior and senior year is
made up of six subject groups and the DP core.

The DP Core: CAS (Creativity/Activity/Service); TOK (Theory of
Knowledge) & EE (Extended Essay)
Through the DP core, students reflect on the nature of
knowledge, complete independent research, and undertake a project that often
involves community service contributing to the development of skills that
exemplify the IB Learner Profile.
The aim of all IB programmes is to develop internationally minded people who, recognizing their common humanity and shared guardianship of the planet, help to create a better and more peaceful world.
