National Honor Society (NHS) is a nationwide organization where students engage themselves in the community and can expand on their ideas and creativity. Members are inducted based on four characteristics:
Scholarship
Leadership
Service
Character
Fees: $40 (one time)
Includes: Shirt, Cords, and Stole for graduation, national dues, our induction costs, Relay for Life costs, any items purchased throughout the year
National Honor Society is open to any 10th-12th grader with a GPA of at least 3.35 UNWEIGHTED. Invitations to apply are sent out once a year in September each school year. Applications need to be filled in their entirety to be considered for inductions. Application requirements include: community service hours, teacher recommendations, and extracurricular activities.
