School Counselors

★ What are Alpha Distributions?

Cypress Creek High School has over 3,100+ students. All of these students are distributed amongst our team of 6 School Counselors by alpha. 

Alpha = Alphabetical -- school counselors have groups of students assigned by the students last name. Review the range for each school counselor; if the first 3 letters of your last name alphabetically fall between a school counselor's assigned range - ding, ding, ding, you have identified your school counselor. **With the exception of students with a 504 plan or are ESOL less than 2 years in the USA who all fall under the same school counselor regardless of last name.

★ How do I reach and/or meet my school counselor?

• Lunches = every day school counselors can be located in the cafeterias - School Counselor Corner. We rotate daily but any student is free to approach whichever counselor is there to address their concerns and direct them to the right person. ***with the exception of major events that may limit availability.
• Email = students and families can always reach us via email with any concerns they may have. We will gladly address concerns, collaborate, or direct you down the right path. ***email responses will be received within a 48 hour window.
• Appointments = only students who have booked an appointment or were personally called down will be allowed in the main office.

★ How do I (students/ families) book an appointment?

• Email -- all of our email signatures include a link "Book time to meet with me". This link will allow you to select the date and time available that works best for you. 
• QR Code -- By scanning the QR Code students and families are able to select the date and time available that works best for you.
